After 6 months the control panel is not working. Customer Service told me there had been a problem with the control panel….but I would have to pay for shipping. Even though maybe it should have been recalled.

This little air purifier has changed my life and the air that I breath, in my bedroom while sleeping. We had a problem with mold in our bedroom this summer nose was always plugged, could not breath,got this purifer and have seen a huge improvement. I can breath when I walk into the room. It cleans and kills all the bad stuff, and I love it.
Tip: Surround Air sells all their returned and defective/repaired purifiers on ebay so you’ll save a bundle if you buy that way instead of paying full retail.

I’ve had the XJ3000 for about 4 months now and THERE IS A DIFFERENCE IN THE AIR.
I used to have nasal clogging / sinus every morning when I got up. Now, I have no more problems with a clogged up nose or hacky throat.
I just checked my filter and after 4 months, it still looks good. So at least the filter is quite durable. The UV light is still working and does not have to be replaced. Overall, a VERY GOOD buy. Worth the price.
I love the timers too - you can program the purifier to clean one room for 1, 2 or 4 hours. I’ve done this in a 500 square feet room and air is noticeably seemed fresher!!
I actually do own one of the AJ-3000E’s, and it works like a charm. In my opinion, anyone here who says otherwise probably doesn’t even own one or is some who is hot because they were duped into buying a Idiotic-Breeze.
As for the lame-o “cheap plastic” argument, just what do you expected it to made from…titanium? Heck man, the shipping box that this comes in stronger and better built than most other air purifiers that cost 2x-3x that of a XJ-3000e.
While those who have never even touched one, most likely that “one-star” moron who wrote all the negative “reviews” above, I just say that I’m an engineer and I can recognize a product that delivers a high cost-to-quality ratio and this product does. And, no, I do not work for even know anyone at the manufacture!
