After a long time with our air cleaner we decided to upgrade.

As much as we rely on our air cleaner to clean our air we absolutely cannot sleep without the white noise of an air cleaner.

After reading the reviews of a popular consumer magazine I decided to purchase the VAQS35. It ranked up toward the top with the best only falling behind in the “noise” ranking. We wanted some good white noise to sleep with so that really wasn’t a negative with us.

What really sold us on it was the fact that it is made in America and has a 5 year warranty compared to only 1 year the other top cleaners offered. The ’s filters are also much more affordable than the other top cleaners.

The form factor of the cleaner is great. It isn’t obtrusive and fits most places nicely. It is made with high-grade plastics and seems very solid and well made. We’ve had it for a few months so far and the only thing I can find wrong with it is that the front grill doesn’t really “lock” onto the unit. It sort of drops into place which might be good for easy filer changes but makes moving it a little bit of a pain at first until you learn the correct way to hold and carry it. It’s not a huge deal but I thought I should mention it.

I just purchased one for my brother and I’ll probably buy a few more.

I purchased it online at a major bath and bedding store. The local store manager told me I could bring my online purchase invoice into the store along with my monthly 20% off coupon and I would receive a refund for the 20% off. Since my purchase price was $199 I received $40 back. $160 final cost for this cleaner. Can’t beat it.
