I bought the Neotec XJ2000, which is the same machine made by the same company in China. I burn a lot of wood in winter months and needed some way to keep the dust down. The highly marketed Ionic Breeze Quadra was just too expensive. I ended up going with a deal on three XJ2000’s to avoid shipping charges. I still paid less than half the price of a Quadra. My XJ2000’s are very quiet and my house seems fresher overall in the couple days I’ve been using them.

On the downside, one of the other reasons I bought these machines was their advertised low ozone output. Nothing could be farther from the truth. All three of mine stink of ozone. Within 3-5 feet of the machines the smell is intolerable. My wife is not quite as sensitive. Even though there is a hi and a low setting(to reduce ozone). The way it works is by cycling on for 2 minutes and off for 3. When the cycle is on you get the full blast of ozone. If you walk by it while on the ‘ON’ cycle, it smells just as bad. The only way I can use these machines is to run them while I’m at work or asleep or put them in spots in the house that I don’t frequent.

A word to the wise, if you put one in the kitchen, you can’t smell your meals as well.
