I suffer from allergies and am a member of an allergy club in California. I’ve used over 20 different types of air purifiers and HEPA machines in my life and the one that’s offered the best results have been the ’s. Hard to believe given their price, but it’s , and I’ll explain why I believe that is later. I went online to find their website address because I’m buying a bunch as Christmas gifts and seen all of these ridiculous negative reviews by what must be their competitors angry at their wholesale prices and it angered me so I had to take a few minute to set the record straight on these little units for anyone interested in the truth.

First of all, let me explain why I think the ’s work so well for people with allergies. It’s the combination of negative ions and HEPA filtration. Most people don’t know that most allergy causing airborne particles are positively charged. The IZ-270 and HEPA ionizer both put out much more negative ions than their competition. When the owner of found out that I was the leader of an allergy club, he sent me one of his $600 ion meters on loan and challenged me to test his machines vs. our members competitive products. Between the 22 of us, we have over 75 different models of air purifiers and HEPA machines, from $20 units up to one $1500 unit. Over a two week period, everyone was able to test their machine. I was shocked to find out the little IZ-270 produced more negative ions than any other unit we tested. Some units like the “Ionic Breeze” and the “Multi-Tech” didn’t even produce any negative ions at all. Many of the HEPA units put out positive ions from the motors I guess. The fan-less ionizers we tested didn’t produce any negative ions at 5 feet due to the lack of a fan I guess. The HEPA ionizer produced more negative ions than the more expensive HEPA machines with ionizers as well. Needless to say, being able to see the negative ion test results for myself was eye opening. I guess air purifier sellers can just say anything they want about negative ion production and nobody will call them to the carpet on it, except this Mike guy who says he has several ion meters and loans them out to people like me every month to disprove lies his competitors tell about his products. If anyone reading this wants to see for themselves, just call the .com phone number, tell them a competitor says they put out more negative ions than the , and he’ll send you a $600 ion meter on loan so that you can test his unit vs. the competition. What a deal, eh? The bottom line, all of our members ended up getting either the IZ-270 or HEPA ionizers and all of us are happy customers. I get a few of my friends to come here and give their 2 cents as well, but I can tell you everyone that has used the IZ-270 has slept better. The IZ-270 is the most silent air purifier on the market that any of us have used to boot.

Another feature I like on the IZ-270 are the electrostatic filters. They’re made from Filtrete Ultra Allergen filter material and they’re washable and won’t harbor fungal growth. The cartridge with the filers, collector plates, and 25 pins pulls out from behind for easy cleaning. Our club members who have bough the XJ-2000, , or other ionizers were impressed at how easy the IZ-270 is to clean vs. their machines that feature hard to reach pins or wires. Those other machines wires and pins are so hard to reach that they build up dust over time and start to snap and pop. The carbon filter in the IZ-270 is also washable and easy to remove and clean. .The HEPA Ionizer is also a great deal. It’s around $30-$40 and also puts out a lot of negative ions, has 6 filters that only cost $5 every 9 months to replace, a remote, timer, etc. It’s worth at least double what they sell it for…but they sell wholesale to the public so that explains their low prices.

The last point I want to make on the IZ-270 is it’s versatility. It’s small so I can take it with me when I travel. It’s saved me many a times on business trips when the room was musty or just plain smelly to me. I also use it in my car and rental cars. The negative ions keep me feeling refreshed and allergy free.

I think anyone buying a competitive product should seriously consider giving one of these ’s a try or buy both and compare for yourself. If you suffer from allergies, then this is the unit for you, seriously. It’s a god-send given it’s effectiveness and price.
