Are you looking for a relatively inexpensive air purifier that will work quickly with cost effectiveness? If this is the case, the may be right for you.

Let’s see, . . I have owned the unit for about two weeks now. Customer service is not always helpful. This is actually my second unit. The first one was nice, until when I removed the collection blades, it would not fully allow itself to be reinserted. Customer care was horrible, and told me to exchange the product. . Oh well, you are not always going to get a perfect unit every time.

The next day, I bring it back to WalMart for an exchange. This unit allowed me to reinsert the blades in as it is supposed to let me do. Now, let’s get to business.

This unit quickly circulates air thorough your room. Katrina ruined parts of my home, thus, leaving horrible, rancid odors everywhere. Being that my father and brother had Asthma, I knew we needed something to clean the air, - - FAST. Dust and odors were everywhere. That was when I turned to at WalMart.

For a long time, I wanted an product, . . but could never afford one, . (NOT EVEN A USED ONE!) This unit is okay for its price, though. In the first week, I did hear minor buzzing noises, but I ignored it and cleaned the blades often for optimal performance.

The room i used it in had mold in it, and it sure smelled like it too! The room was about 525 sq. ft. So, I thought a little larger than the unit’s 500 sq. ft. cleaning capacity wouldn’t hurt. = = %26gt; It didn’t. Within 25 minutes, I noticed significantly cleaner smelling air. (I was shocked)

The unit is silent, although from time to time, you do hear a small buzz here and there - - but not bothersome. However, this product does release ozone into the air. (Something that can aggravate people with respiratory problems) But I purchased this unit anyways, since my doctor even recomended it!

Now, my brother LOVES the smell of the room now. You smell ozone if you are too close to the unit. . (I mean right in front of it). My brother has asthma and allergies. He breathes a LOT better now AND has not sneezed in that room since! (He used to sneeze a LOT.)

However, the casing of this product does feel a little cheap, . . somewhat flimsey on the base, but its okay. I like the feature that prevents you from damaging the unit by making you insert the blades with the unit laying down on its back.

Although the manual recommends cleaning the blades every 5-6 days, I clean it every other day. (Just to make sure the unit will be able to clean the air effectively) And although it does not look like a lot of dust, when I just a soft paper towel to wipe the steel blades, the towel turned from white to BLACK in seconds! And now I see the nasty stuff we were breathing in and making us sick!

Although I wish I had the by , this unit will have to suffice. I recommend it to anyone with a limited budget, but needs cleaner air. This one’s a keeper! I will keep this updated to let you all know what happens!
