I purchased this Air purifier as an addition to another Hunter air cleaner that i own.
I suffer from asthma, and severe allergies, and it seems like the older i get the worse my allergies are.
Any way, this air cleaner is white in color, and has 3 speeds, and an illuminated switch to show that its on.
I leave it running all day and night, and occassionally use the vacuum hose to clean of the air inlet vents.
There is definitely quite a bit of noise when its running, its not a bad noise, its the sound of rushing air, and when its on high you might need ear plugs if you are gonna stay in the same room. I usually turn the unit on high when everyone is gone from the house then turn it back to medium or low when we are there. Im not kidding you when i say that i only have to dust our house maybe one time per month. im serious, once per month… these air cleaners do the job of getting that dust and dander out of the air and into the hepa filter.
as far as reliability go, these are dependable, we never ever turn them off, they are always running, and the house smells crisp and clean when you walk in,its really refreshing.
Hunter is known for reliability, and these air cleaners are defintiely no exception, they have the fan business down to a fine art, and the dependability is superb.
