My fiance has allergies like crazy! So I decided to purchase this filter for her over a year ago. It has helped a great deal with her allergy attacks, which means that she gets to spend more time with me instead of being knocked out with all of her medication. The filter that it came with is still lasting, which is over a year of use. It is relatively quite for a high volume exchange unit. The unit is farely portable and is really easy to use and maintain. Definately a good buy if you are looking for a HEPA filter that is reliable.
