This is an excellent air cleaner that will certainly improve the air quality. I’m allergic to dust mites and this cleaner made a visible improvement. It’s built-in handle makes it easy to move around and it’s very sturdy. The life time HEPA filter was really the deal maker but the indicator that tells you when to change the prefilter is also a very nice feature.

Their are however two major downsides if you plan on using this in a bedroom. The first is the irresponsibly bright LED on the top of the unit. The light is bright enough to be a night lite and I can’t sleep with a night lite. I was able to fix this problem by poping off the control panel and stuffed electric tape over the LED. The other problem is it’s noise levels which I have yet to find a solution. I found High and Medium both to be way too loud to sleep with. The low setting would be fine but my unit softly rattles when it’s set to low. This may be just a defect in the unit I bought but I doubt it.

Still I highly recommend this air cleaner because it works great and it’s easy to maintain. I simply leave the unit on high when I’m not in the bedroom and then turn it off when I go to bed.
