As I reached my thirties I began to develop allergies. Every six to eight weeks I was on some sort of antibiotic due to colds and sinus infections. I always saw that “smokey haze” in the beams of sunlight coming through windows. My wife’s a clean freak so we’ve never had pets and no one smokes in the house.
My Mother-in-law developed Alzheimers disease in 1984 and came to live with us. So in addition to my personal health problems, our house was now a “rest home” with all the associated smells and germs.
In 1996, while at a lawn mower shop, I was offered a trial of a Living Air XL-15. I took it home, plugged it in, and within ten minutes, I decided to buy the thing! Since that time, I have had 1 (one) cold and 2 (two) sinus infections (both of which were a result of a nose full of moldy fiberglass insulation that I got on the job)
My Mother-in Law is now (are you ready for this?) in her 100th year, and has her own Living Air machine in her room. (I just know that machine will kill her one of these days :o) Weve used it to de-odorize and sanitize her room, all the cloths in her closet, and even to treat her occasional bedsores. Weve even used it on 3rd degree burns that healed without any medication and zero infection; and for the record, the only times Ive ever seen that smokey haze again was when the electric power was off for a week due to a severe storm. No One on this planet will ever convince me that this machine doesnt do what (and even more than) they say its supposed to do.
I didn’t want to do this, but I got aggravated reading some of the negative reviews from misinformed folks who:
1. Just dont like the smell of ozone
2. Are too stupid to just turn the knob down.
3. But want to believe all junk science that says these machines will kill you in 10 seconds flat.
A couple years ago I heard an Alpine/Ecoquest salesman say: Some folks are just to stupid to own one of these things. I think the guy had a point.
