Have you ever come home to a dirty, stinky, house? Well let me tell you I have many times in my life. Living the college experience is wonderful, but can easily ruin the smell of any room or even the entire house! I’ve tried almost every air freshener out there and each one has its perks, but Febreze Scentstories is the clear choice for me. After turning the unit on and pressing it’s easy to use play button, I can just lie back and enjoy a variety of scents. The only downfall I would have to argue would be the small humming noise it makes. For some people this could pose as a potential problem, but for me it is easily drowned out by the television or radio.

The machine is extremely easy to use. All you have to do is place it a couple feet off the ground in a room that needs a little “pick me up.” It measures about 9″ x 6″ x 5″, similar in size to an alarm clock. It doesn’t require any assembly, just a plain old outlet. It also works very similar to a CD player. You open the unit up, place the disk inside, and you’re ready to rejuvenate your house. It has an eyelet on the top which shows you exactly what scent you smell. It also has an intensity adjuster with the settings low, medium, and high. It will play each scent for about 30 minutes and then move on the next scent. It will play continuous for about 2.5 hours unless you decide to stop it sooner. Each disk has about 50 hours on it and cost anywhere from 5 to 6 dollars at any local grocery store or Wal-Mart. The unit itself is in the price range of 25 dollars, which I know is fairly expensive for an air freshener but I think the price is completely reasonable for its durability, long lasting scents, and easy to use functions.
