I decided to buy this from Walmart after a friend of mine had bought it and said she loved it. It was $28.95 and I was a little hesitant at first because I am not one to spend that much money on an “air freshener.” But I figured hey, if my very picky, materialistic friend loved it, so would I. I absolutely love it when my house it filled with the aroma of scentstories.
THE MACHINE:
This product is very easy to get going. Pull the foil freshness seal from the disc (It comes with 1 disc already, they are a bit pricey at around $5 ea) plug the product in (no batteries), and all you do is open up the lid like on a cd player and put the disc in, press play. That is it. Immediately the scent starts blowing off like a fan, filling your house with beautiful aroma. It allows you to choose 3 different levels of intensity. Some people say the highest is too strong, but I have a nice size house with high ceilings, so I prefer the highest. All you do is plug it in and it will play for up to 2 1/2 hours,stopping by itself. There are 5 different scents on a disc and each one plays for 1/2 hour each. You can stop it at anytime by just pressing the “stop” square button on the front and it will take a minute for the disc to get back to the beginning. Each disc lasts 50 hours. I have not had to throw any of mine away yet. They still blow out fragrance just like they did from day one. When you buy a disc it gives you stickers with the month on them so you can tab it as to how long you have actually had it.

BREAKDOWN OF SCENTS:
You can kind of figure out what they will smell like by the titles. My favorite is “on a tropical island” disc. It kind of fans out a coconut like scent and smells like a beach. I do not care for the vanilla, but that is just my personal preference because I do not like the smell of vanilla. One of the scents on the vanilla disc smells like cappuccino. Strolling throught the garden is very floral scents, while the wandering barefoot on the shore disc is more of fresh smelling scents. Relaxing in the hammock is more soft, perfume-like smells.
One of the most common questions I have been asked is: Does the machine play music? No. (Wouldn’t that be nice if it did?)

IN A NUTSHELL
Overall, this product is definitely worth the money. 50 hours on each disc, if you were to get all 5 discs you would not have to light a candle or replace a plug-in for a long time.
