I am an allergy sufferer and invariably when the seasons change, I get an attack of sneezing, runny nose, and itchy, watery eyes. My husband had suggested an air purifier, however I had an air purifier before that got neglected. I used it for awhile, realized that replacement filters were $25 each to be replaced every three months, then found a permanent home for it in some mysterious corner of an unused closet.

I was initially attracted to this purifier because it boasted that the filter never needed changing; that an occasional washing was all it required. Once I got the product, I was very impressed at it’s filtering capabilities. It has three filters to clean the air (all of them washable and in an easy to remove cassette) as well as ionizing capabilites. My allergy symptoms are noticeably alleviated and I can finally sleep without taking Benadryll!

In addition to cleaning the air, the air purifier has a feature where you can purchase a scent case, install it into the machine and it will release pleasant relaxing scents into the air. This “scent” capabilty was something I was not interested in at all so I have not tested that out yet.

Sofar, I’ve only had the Amcor for about a week so I cannot attest to the filter’s ease of washing either. It doesn’t look like it’s too involved so I don’t anticipate that being an issue.
