Both my spouse and I were having dust allergy problems,
mine much worse , with severe coughing and mucchous.
I am also a singer , so I couldn’t sing.
We dusted and cleaned the bedroom completely , and then first used the Hunter Quietflo. We immediately felt fresher air , but within a week , we stopped coughing so much , and within two weeks , I could sing again , and the
coughing is very slight, once in a while - a complete turnaround!
I notice there’s no dust buildup like before - not many
“floaters”, either. We got a really good price from Costco
online , and it was a real deal - now we wished we had bought two. Absolutely awesome!

Hunter 398 is a Very Good Air Purifier and noticed a difference w/in a day!! Must clean/vacuum/dust rooms from top to bottom to really notice the difference! Reduces dust build up substantially, noticed by reduced(~80-90%) dust on Black TV & Black elliptical in my living room!! I have asthma/allergies and my wife has commented that I no longer cough and I am breathing easier! I also got one for my bedroom and same GREAT effects!! I recommend this Hunter 398 for a 300-350 Sq.ft room!!
Having said all that, The Hunter company really needs to reevaluate the “Quiet Flo” name as you will see how loud this unit is on high. We got used to it pretty quickly & you really need that powerful fan to circulate the air!!!. Good luck in your purchase and heres to cleanier air!!!!
