Pros: Easy to install. Come in pack of two.
Weaknesses: Expensive and are not sold in retail stores. It is messy to remove from the plastic frame that you insert them into when it is time to replace them. They are water soaked and have mold on them.
The humidifier I have is a Bionaire W-9. These are required for proper functioning and filtration of pollutants. If I didn’t have to use these, it would be great, based on my negative comments but I have an older whole house model that works well and it does a good job of keeping the humidity at a comfortable level.
